Remote Upgrade

It's possible to upgrade AggreGate Server to a new version by uploading the new installation bundle via the server's administrative UI, without running an installer from operating system environment.

To upgrade AggreGate Server remotely, please follow instructions carefully in order to protect server database from being corrupted:

  • Download new version of AggreGate Server. Make sure that you have downloaded the version appropriate to the server operating system.
  • Run Upgrade Server action from the root context
  • Choose AggreGate Server installation bundle file that you downloaded
  • Select between instant or delayed installation
  • Click OK to proceed with the upgrade
  • If you're using AggreGate Client, upgrade all client workstations to match new server version

    • Remote update requires more resources than the standard update method, mostly in terms of memory usage.  In case of insufficient memory the update will be terminated without any effects for system.
