Desktop Client Application
AggreGate Client is a desktop software product using a Graphical User Interface (GUI) to access a AggreGate Server installation.
 | AggreGate Client is deprecated in favor of the Web UI. No new solutions, services and products should be designed and developed in AggreGate Client. Its maintenance will be discontinued in the future. Web UI enables pixel-perfect customization of user interfaces and advanced UX design process. Any web interface can also run in a kiosk or touch panel (by running browser in full screen mode or even as an OS shell) making Web UI a complete replacement for a desktop client. |
It can be used for:
Server configuration and administration
Management and configuration of Devices
Event monitoring and receiving alert notifications
Development and operation of your product/solution that uses desktop user interface
In short, it can be used for just about anything having to do with AggreGate Server. The AggreGate Client is your "window" into AggreGate Server. This is where the average user spends most of his time.
AggreGate Client the uses AggreGate Communications Protocol to communicate with AggreGate Server.
